This item replaces a faulty KHM-420AAA UMD drive on a fat 1000 model Sony Playstation Portable. If your PSP does not read discs, reads discs slowly, the picture keeps freezing, or is just making noises when reading discs this is the part for you. This item includes the laser, the motor that spins the disc, and the metal cage that holds the disc. Requires a near full disassembly of PSP, professional installation is recommended.
